SHAPES

OF COMFORT

How can we fill the void when the space in between stretches hollow?

The pursuit of comfort gently guides us back to regeneration's primordial source: the natural world. If comfort insulates from emptiness and paves the way for renewal, nature is comfort's foremost wellspring. In nature, as with art, sensation comes to the fore. Its embrace quietens the void's silence. Elemental impulses initiate anew in this stillness, creating space for connection and healing.

Tethered to the earth, the practice of ceramics is a vessel for nature's comfort, transmitting energy from the ground into the artist's hands and relinquishing its matter to their whim. Imbued with intuition, natural matter finds a new form, receiving the imprint of its sculptor's expression as an invitation.

As witnesses to the meditative act of creation and to time's uneven passage, ceramics and their contours embody physical comfort and spiritual courage, a quiet reminder that without enduring the void's passage, there can be no emergence, no reconnection.

CULINARY EXPERIENCE by pars Berlin

Kristiane Kegelmann (visual artist and owner of the label "pars Pralinen") will take care of the culinary accompaniment. The spacious, idyllic grounds have been chosen many summers as a popular destination where art and pleasure wonderfully combine. You can discover fine delicacies and drinks in the garden, which invites you to linger. The small, exclusive menu offers dishes and products made by local producers and (natural) wines, refreshing spritzes, and iced chocolates.
